Who are we?
Lassies in STEM is a not for profit organisation that is working to challenge stereotypes about working in the STEM sector in Scotland by telling the stories of women and non-binary professionals. We are not a registered charity.

We only obtain information about you when you contact us or choose to share your career pathway for us when registering as a Lassies in STEM role model. In addition, we collect the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet so that we can monitor traffic on our website.
What type of information is collected from you?
We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages and page interaction information. The personal information that may be collected can include your name, email address and any other personal information that you choose to give to us.
How is your information used?
Your information may be used to analyse how the website is being used to improve the user experience and seek your views/feedback about Lassies in STEM.

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary, to complete the purpose for which it was gathered.

We are obliged to protect the privacy of children aged 16 or under. If you are aged 16 or under‚ please ensure you obtain your parent/guardian’s prior permission whenever you provide us with your personal information.

You have the right of access to your personal information held by Lassies in STEM. You also have the right to request that your personal information is permanently erased.
Anyone wishing to access or erase their personal information should put their request in writing to the company.
